and changing and you all seemed to enjoy our videos discussing the new additions coming
to Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2019. Well with the recent D 23 Destination D event
that took place in Orlando in mid November, a lot of new important details of previously
announced projects were revealed. At Destination D they also announced additional
brand new attractions and experiences making their way into the parks in 2019. So think of this as a follow up video of our
previous videos as we discuss all these details and count down the Top 10 New Disney Attractions-
The Updates and Announcements! Number 10
At Epcot, construction is well underway on the new Ratatouille Ride which will have a
home behind the France Pavilion in World Showcase. It’s rumoured to open in 2020 and this trackless
dark ride is a clone from The Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. There, the ride is called Ratatouille: L’Aventure
Totalement Toquée de Rémy which after my horrible French, translates to Ratatouille:
Remy’s Totally Zany Adventure. For english marketing sake, Disneyland Paris
just calls the ride Ratatouille: The Adventure and fans weren’t too sure if this would
also be the name for the attraction at Epcot. Well it was officially announced that the
ride would be called Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure which I gotta say flows off the
tongue pretty well and is simple and to the point. It’s great to finally have something to
call this ride other than the Ratatouille ride. Number 9
Now Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure isn’t the only addition that we’ll be seeing in
the France Pavilion. It was announced that A new Beauty and the
Beast Sing along based off the 2017 live action film, will also find a home in France. Now this sing a long will be in addition to
the impressions de France film that currently plays in the theatre, so this is not replacing
Impressions de France- at least not at this point. The sing a long is definitely aligned with
Disney’s decision to bring more movie IPs into Epcot and frankly, with this new experience
tied to Beauty and the Beast, it’s going to be a very popular attraction. So popular that maybe it will need to fully
replace Impressions de France just to meet demand. No other details were announced and its uncertain
if this sing a long will also follow the same kinda format as the Frozen Sing a long at
Hollywood Studios including the live actors. They were able to whip up the Frozen Sing
A Long pretty quickly, and Disney did say that the Beauty and the Beast Sing a long
will be coming soon, so this “coming soon” sort of implies that we could probably see
this added in 2019. Number 8
At the D23 Expo in 2017 it was announced that the China Pavilion would get a new film to
replace Reflections of China; no date has been set but in November of 2018, it was announced
that the Canada Pavilion will also receive an update to their film. The current version of O’Canada stars Martin
Short as the host but since they said “update” its unsure weather this’ll be an entirely
new film. The announcement was very vague, but with
China, they said the new film would be a seamless circle-vision experience. The current 360 theatre in Canada has bars
between each screen so if we do get this seamless film presentation, these bars would go away
and this would mean that an entirely new film would be shot. The camera rig used to shoot the China footage
could definitely be used to shoot Canada footage while they’re at it. As time goes on, we’ll definitely learn
a lot more, but it’s great seeing so many things at Epcot finally getting attention
after being stagnant for over a decade. Number 7
Moving over to Disneyland in California, they’re gonna be honouring the mouse with Get Your
Ears on A Mickey and Minnie Celebration. To kick off Mickey’s 90th birthday celebration,
a new nighttime show called Mickey’s Mix Magic will make its debut on January 18th
2019. This is gonna be a brand new high energy show
with a dance party atmosphere. Expect to hear EDM twists on your favorite
Disney Songs to celebrate Mickey Mouse using lasers, projections and lighting throughout
the park. It’s gonna use the Main Street buildings,
It’s A Small World and the Rivers of America water screens as canvas’s for the show. Even though Mickey’s Mix Magic is gonna
be a projection and laser based show, they are gonna be adding fireworks on select nights. There’s been rumours that this show could
be a spin on a the We Love Mickey projection show thats currently at Hong Kong Disneyland. The show includes almost everything that Disney’s
described including EDM twists on classic Disney songs- not to mention that Hong Kong’s
Main Street is almost identical to California’s. The projection mapping thats been developed
in Hong Kong could easily transfer to California, so get ready for Mickey’s Mix Magic to light
up Disneyland beginning January 18th! And just as an aside, while we’re on the
topic of Mickey’s 90th Birthday, if you find yourself in the New York City area definitely
check out Mickey the True Original Exhibition. It’s on right now until Feb 10th and features
some really cool art displays that show Mickey’s influence on pop culture. From displays using forced perspective to
authentic props from the Mickey Mouse club TV show and an entire display dedicated to
sorcerer Mickey, there’s something for every Disney fan in the exhibition. It was really a lot of fun and a great way
to celebrate Mickey Mouse! Number 6
Although not an official attraction and more of a new mode of transportation, construction
on Disney’s Skyliner is well underway at Walt Disney World. This system will connect Disney’s Hollywood
Studios and Epcot to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s
Caribbean Beach Resort and the Riviera Resort which is currently under constriction. For over a year and a half we’ve seen concept
art of the gondolas but finally, at Destination D, Disney revealed one of the actual gondolas
and gave the system an opening date of Fall 2019. This means that it will definitely be open
and transporting guests by the time Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge opens in late fall of 2019. So get ready for some pretty amazing and unique
views of Walt Disney World coming next fall. Number 5
Well Disney finally released more information on Lighting McQueen’s Racing Academy coming
to Hollywood Studios, and it gives us a much better idea of what to except. Disney confirmed that we’ll be face to face
with Lightning Mcqueen himself live on stage, and in the Disney Parks Presents a 25 Days
of Christmas Holiday Party program they said that they’ll be bringing him to life in
a way that’s never been seen before. Lightning McQueen will be sharing his race
winning knowledge to get you across the finish line. In the program they showed him at Disney California
Adventure but then showed storyboards of exaggerated mouth movements- so it sounds like he’ll
be an audio animatronic or the free roving character but with a fully articulated mouth
like Mater on radiator springs racers. In the other video we mentioned that the Sunset
Showcase theatre currently has these screens around the venue. Well, Disney revealed that they’d be bringing
us into the world of cars through 14 foot tall screens around the theatre. The current screens are definitely being expanded
to allow for what sounds like a very immersive experience. With more and more details announced and confirmed,
once this opens in Spring of 2019, i think it’s gonna be a very popular attraction
at Hollywood Studios. Number 4
We’ve always known that Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood
Studios would have two attractions, but now we finally have names. The millennium falcon attraction will be called
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and the battle escape attraction will be called Star Wars:
Rise of the Resistance. In our New Attractions coming to Disneyland
video, we explained exactly what these rides will be, or least the information that’s
been available so far, but the footage you’re seeing now is brand new footage of the attractions
that Disney just released; its pretty exciting wether your a Star Wars fan or not. It was also announced that composer John Williams
would be composing new music for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and its sure to make this
Star Wars experience even more immersive. Number 3- Epcot Firework Show
It was previously announced that illuminations at Epcot would be ending its 20 year run in
2019 being replaced by a new nighttime spectacular. Well it actually turns out that when illuminations
ends, a new limited time show called Epcot Forever will debut in fall of 2019 before
the permeant show debuts in 2020. Now Epcot Forever will celebrate classic Epcot
songs; the official statement from Disney says that the show will “begin with a spark
of imagination,” nice little figment reference, “that swells into an epic spectacle of fireworks,
music, lighting, lasers, and special effect kites.” It sounds like a pretty promising show that
we can only hope will bring back songs from extinct Epcot attractions. Epcot Forever seems to be allowing Disney
to keep a firework show in the park as they alter the Illuminations infrastructure to
get it ready for the new show in 2020. With the whole shift of bringing more Disney
movie IP’s into EPCOT this does seem like a sendoff to the original Epcot which brings
us into number 2. Number 2
Disney also released concept art for the long term firework show coming to Epcot in 2020,
giving us a bit more insight into what we can expect. As you can see the concept art shows Miguel
from Coco, Hercules and Moana so more Disney movie IPs are definitely on their way, but
it’ll be interesting to see how far they go with it. Disney says this show will celebrate how Disney
music inspires people all around the world which fits with World Showcase lagoon, especially
since since these songs will be sung in multiple languages. With the new show you can expect floating
set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics and
lasers. By the sounds of it, this is gonna be a very
technical and impressive show! Number 1- New Projection Show at DHS
Now Epcot and Disneyland aren’t the only parks receiving new nighttime shows in 2019. It was announced that a new nighttime experience
called Wonderful World of Animation would debut at Hollywood Studios in May of 2019. This show will celebrate the park’s 30th
anniversary and when you look at this concept art you might be thinking that it looks an
awful lot like fantastic- but don’t you worry, Fantasmic isn’t going anywhere and
this projection show seems to be replacing the Disney Movie Magic show thats currently
at the park. Wonderful World of Animation is gonna bring
you though 90 years of Disney animation beginning with Mickey Mouse, and what a better place
for this show than the Chinese Theatre. Come fall of 2019, it will be the new permanent
home of Mickey Mouse in Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Projection on the Chinese theatre area works
quite well and a new fresh nighttime experience is always a great addition! So what are your thoughts on these additions
and details, and which one are you looking forward to seeing the most? I’d love to know! Leave a comment down below to start a conversion

I think what I'd like to see most is the Mickey ride though it was briefly mentioned, just because I'd like to see how it translates from the concept art. But this was a fascinating video and loved the info. Great job as always!

  7. mango says:

They reeeeeally should do something for star tours, since Star Wars land is happening. Instead of tearing it down, they should totally come up with a new theme. We have to wait a bit though, since we have to wait for something futuristic-like to be bought or made by Disney, that would fit the theme of a tour.

(I have ideas… but they are near to really impossible. I’ll just leave it to the pros.)

Definitely had a mini heart attack hearing about the new show for Hollywood Studios because it did look like a Fantasmic replacement lol Sigh of relief! I'm going to Disney next year to see Fantasmic after not having seen it in a few years so I would be heartbroken if it went away.

Is to too much to ask for a Princess and the Frog themed attraction? I really feel like Princess Tiana has been the least incorporated into the parks and that a New Orleans themed area or even a Tiana’s Palace themed restaurant would be such an interesting addition to the parks.

While I see why some people don’t like the IP’s in Epcot, saying that it should stay in its educational state, I say to you it can’t. I remember the first time when I was 6 That I went to Epcot and I hated it. I hated it for years afterwards. However, as they started adding non educational rides to areas I began to enjoy it more. Now I can enjoy the World Showcase as I’m older, but walking around, seeing nothing I recognized from the movies as well as few rides I could ride as a child made the trip to Epcot suck for myself and my parents. The IPs won’t make it suck, it’ll just make it more marketable. Now you could say this is Disney being less creative, and that is a fair complaint. However, I retort back, does that make it a worse ride? Avatar is an IP and it’s land in the Animal Kingdom is amazing. So I say, give it a chance. And if it goes bad? Most of you have already decided it will be, so I don’t think if it’s good or bad will change your minds, but if it is truly bad, at least you guys can say you told us so and it will be changed in a few years or so.

  36. AllyTime says:

I miss the old Hollywood Studios

  37. Tsudere Cat says:

I would love to see a Hercules ride(HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE. I love the movie Hercules), Wreck It Ralph ride(first movie and it would be based on Sugar Rush), Mulan because she doesn't get ANY love anymore, and a Princess and the Frog ride. Maybe a Rapunzel one too but idk. I say Princess and the Frog because I think it would be so cool to make swamp themes, smooth jazz, and animatronics. And I think it would be BEAUTIFUL to recreate the scene where there are many fireflies and they lead Tiana and Naveen away! And one more thing…

  38. Morgan DeMark says:

i know the incredicoaster is at disneyland but they need to add an incredibles attraction to hollywood studios in disney world. the incredibles is by far my favorite movie. i would also love to see a monsters inc ride as that movie is extremely popular and i’m not sure why they haven’t made a ride for it. for the incredibles ride maybe they could do something that showcases jack jack’s powers more and the rest of the family, also it needs to have frozone. monsters inc ride could maybe be basically what the storyline of the movie is, finding boo and keeping up with her. it would be an amazing dark ride. the incredicoaster at disneyland is honestly not very good. it seems rushed and i feel like it just could have been better. i would still ride it tho just bc i love the incredibles😂

At about 10:40 was that pun intended? It will be interesting to see "how far they'll go with it"?

    🎶No one knows how far I'll go… I am Moana!! 🎶

  47. Animal_lover Blueeb2 says:

I know this is something far in the future, but when most of the new editions are added, could you make another recycled animatronics or props video? Specifically on the Great Movie Ride? I assume they won’t just put all of the animatronics into storage or throw them out. Plus they had many moving parts in the Great Movie Ride, like the car in the gangster scene. I hope that made sense. Thank you for looking at this (if you do) and I love your videos!

  48. Ohmar Diaz says:

Don’t get me wrong I love a lot of the ip rides but there replacing so many rides with ips that each park I’m afraid might lose its own unique charm with is extremely sad

  57. Linda Zacharias says:

Dissappointed they are not doing more at Disneyland!!! The first park!

  58. THE KING OF THE SHOW says:

I'm going to Disneyland Paris in this year so I'm defenetly going on the ratatouille ride

  59. aukux x says:

But we need a coco ride

  60. CosplayCore says:

I don’t have any reasons to visit any other parks anymore once Figment finally goes poof. I’m not into Star Wars, I AM a fan of Avatar but not big enough that I HAVE to go to Pandora, if the IP at EPCOT isn’t educational, I couldn’t care less about whatever gets added… I mean, I get plenty of IP at Magic Kingdom. This is starting to look like it’s a possible long term suicide. I can see myself talking to grandkids someday and saying, “Yes, once there really was a magic castle and every brick was laid down by a legendary man and his best friend, who was a mouse. I used to visit that castle and all of its glories as a little girl. But now that place is no more than a faded dream.”

I mean good IP can last a while, but it will last even longer when interspersed with basic themes. IP is not everything. My family always had to go to all of the parks because each one offered things you couldn’t get at any of the others. Now, if everything’s gonna be IP, why go anywhere but Magic Kingdom?

  61. Rachel Silvers says:

I’ll be sad to see illuminations go, I am very attached to it. But I do have high hopes for a multilingual music based show so fingers crossed that they execute it well!!

  65. Queen Savage says:

Yes I can't wait to see the railroad ride when I go for my b'day

  66. Aris Rosbach says:

Hey! I'm from Holland and a huge fan of your channel. But as you can see, Disneyland and Disneyworld are far away from me. That's why i go to Disneyland Paris. This year i will go for the 5th time. And even Paris is very far from my home. But the question is. Maybe you could make a video about Disneyland Paris? You could do a comparison between the parks in America?
